Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming materials and goods from transport vehicles using material handling equipment
• Verify shipment quantities against delivery notes and inspect packaging for damage
• Report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately
• Move materials to correct warehouse locations and maintain accurate storage records
• Prepare and label goods for shipment
• Load outgoing goods and verify delivery documentation
• Operate and perform basic checks on assigned material handling equipment
• Utilize SAP system for inventory and movement tracking

Requirements

• Proven experience operating material handling equipment (Forklift experience required; Reach truck is an advantage)
• Ability to work in a 3-shift operation
• Ability to work at heights
• Proficiency with SAP software
• Strong manual dexterity and organizational skills
• Ability to react flexibly to changes in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills
