Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Utilize manual and motorized machinery to process vendor and customer returns accurately
• Use RF devices to verify product location, description, quantity, and expiration dates
• Identify and note inventory discrepancies for supervisor review
• Break down received products into correct selling units and place them in designated stocking locations
• Manage damaged inventory by moving items to designated areas and notifying the spill team
• Maintain company standards for quality and quantity of work in compliance with business standards

Requirements

• Ability to pass machine driver safety training for required equipment
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
• Ability to lift, carry, or move products up to 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces continuously
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment with occasional exposure to dust or cold

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of basic warehousing operations
