Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely load and unload materials to maintain facility inventory flow
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, and conveyors to move material within the facility
• Manage consignment inventory, location-to-location moves, and inventory adjustments
• Assist in the cycle counting process and maintain warehouse documentation
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and the Distribution team to resolve quality or shipping issues
• Stage materials in a timely and accurate manner to meet organizational needs

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of forklift experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, or reaching
• Ability to push and pull cases weighing between 200lbs and 800lbs repetitiously

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment
