Material Handler I- Box Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Distribute production and non-production materials, including purchased parts and WIP, throughout the plant
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling carts, and forklifts
• Drive box trucks in various road conditions, including small roadways and highways
• Maintain inventory accuracy and required documentation for all moved materials
• Ensure all inventory is properly identified, stored, and protected from damage
• Maintain a safe and neat work area in accordance with company standards
• Set work priorities to meet scheduled production goals

Requirements

• Three (3) years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Proven experience operating box trucks
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Proficient in computer use for data entry, part scanning, and schedule review
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read metric tape measures and perform mathematical computations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift
