Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck and pallet jack in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintain established inventory levels by moving stock and delivering items to the sales floor
• Assist truck drivers with checking in, counting, and directing merchandise
• Ensure products are accessible, visually appealing, and available
• Label merchandise and follow proper weighing procedures
• Participate in periodic inventory audits
• Perform safety checks on equipment including batteries, brakes, and lift controls
• Record all product, equipment, and warehouse damage
• Maintain aisle cleanliness and adhere to all company safety policies

Requirements

• At least one year of warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift and pallet jack certification
• Understanding of OSHA safety rules
• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
