About the role

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within the plant.
  • Utilize forklifts to move materials while following all safety and workplace procedures.
  • Prepare orders according to specific pallet and order requirements.
  • Create barcodes for part identification and accurately scan inventory using handheld scanners and the Harvest system.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to the Team Leader or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to complete Grain & Protein Technologies and OSHA forklift training within one week of start date.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using RF/handheld scanners.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Ability to stand for up to twelve hours per day and continuously lift/move up to 50 pounds.
