Material Handler, Goods Receipt

Responsibilities

• Handle goods arrivals according to established SOPs and guidelines
• Offload trucks and coordinate with on-site staff for efficient receiving
• Inspect arrived goods for quality and register any deviations or missing items
• Register goods in the ERP system to support Supplier Deliver On Time (SDOT) measurements
• Mark goods according to internal rules, including express handling or quarantine/claims
• Deliver inspected goods to the Warehouse Team for put-to-stock processes
• Collaborate with the Packing team on goods identification, markings, and mixup prevention
• Assist with loading outbound goods onto trucks or coordinate with site staff

Requirements

• Proven forklift driving skills
• General warehousing experience and skills
• Proficiency with office computer applications
• Strong knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes
• Ability to handle large crates and heavy materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within Alfa Laval production, manufacturing, or distribution environments
