Material Handler - Gluing - Night

Responsibilities

• Safely transport product and material using sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, and manual or electric pallet jacks.
• Load and unload trucks and move materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment, including generating and attaching necessary labels.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory transactions.
• Perform daily inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment, documenting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain plant cleanliness and organization through regular housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
• Assist with training new employees and participating in daily, monthly, and year-end cycle counts.
• Comply with all company policies, including GMP, PPE, HACCP, and JSA regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work-related experience.
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to move, push, and position up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, maintenance instructions, and quality procedure documents.
• Basic mathematical skills for counting and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled.
