Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage materials required for work orders and record all necessary trace documentation
• Load outgoing shipments accurately and safely, ensuring correct labeling and packaging
• Assist with unloading incoming materials in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Conduct cycle counts and post totals to inventory records both manually and via computer
• Track inventory movement within the warehouse and between different warehouse locations
• Analyze inventory discrepancies by researching variances and identifying root causes
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including shelves, pallet areas, and shipping supplies
• Follow all plant policies and OSHA-specific health and safety expectations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• 2-5 years of material handling and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory maintenance
• Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for greater than 50% of the shift
