Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments of materials and finished goods
• Drive stand-up and sit-down forklifts for material delivery and movement
• Compare purchase orders with invoices, BOLs, and packing lists to ensure accuracy
• Organize received items and place them in correct storage locations
• Pick and deliver materials according to production needs
• Assist with regular cycle counts and warehouse audits
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in all warehouse areas
• Process returns for incorrect or non-conforming parts
• Assist in recycling material and waste within the warehouse

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of on-the-job forklift experience
• Ability to pass stand-up forklift, stock chaser, tugger, and sit-down forklift tests
• Ability to pass the MEO fit test
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work overtime and varying shifts as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of FedEx, UPS, and other shipping systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
