About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments using an electronic inventory system
- Unload, inspect, organize, log, and distribute components and hardware
- Support shipping activities including wrapping, marking, and loading freight
- Pull orders and deliver material to production areas using a forklift
- Collaborate with logistics and service providers for shipping and receiving
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Requirements
- Willingness to be trained and recertified on a forklift
- Ability to work hands-on with frequent bending, stooping, sitting, and standing
- Strong communication skills and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to shift tasks quickly as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior forklift experience
- Prior warehouse or inventory control experience
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Experience with freight and parcel shipping
