Material Handler - Forklift

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise to support production shifts
• Maintain supplies of materials to the production floor and routers
• Remove finished products from lines and move goods from the shrink wrap area to the yard
• Load and unload trucks and perform order filler or checker duties as required
• Use RF barcode equipment and scanning guns to maintain accurate inventory and record product transactions
• Keep warehouse and storage areas, including the outside dumpster pad, neat and clean
• Manage waste, scrap, and trash removal, including weighing scrap for end-of-shift paperwork

Requirements

• 1-3 years of forklift operation experience
• 1-3 years of experience loading and unloading trucks
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or shipping environment
• Ability to operate computers and radio frequency (RF) barcode equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled
