Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders by counting and comparing items to documentation
• Receive, verify, and put away incoming vendor material and customer returns
• Load and unload trucks, including long pipe loads
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report safety issues or inventory discrepancies
• Assist teammates with customer service at the counter and product packaging requests

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and intermediate math skills
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Rough Terrain Forklift experience
• Knowledge of plumbing and building products
• Experience with Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, or Outlook
