Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders
• Count, verify, receive, and organize incoming products from suppliers and customer returns
• Load and unload trucks and operate forklifts or other mechanical handling equipment
• Verify receiving documents against physical products and note discrepancies or damages
• Enter received products into the computer system
• Assemble and pack products for customer pickup or shipment
• Complete documentation for third-party carrier shipments and hazardous goods
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety by removing debris and waste
• Assist teammates with counter customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or DEP
• At least one year of warehouse experience
• Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn product knowledge and forklift operation
• High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
• Ability to use order processing software
• Average mathematics skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or knowledge of HVAC products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
