Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all stock inventories for the warehouse
• Follow daily manufacturing work orders with attention to material accuracy
• Maneuver heavy materials using forklifts, pallets, and hand trucks
• Unload shipped materials and pull items from stock according to work orders
• Maintain equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
• Assist the shipping area with packaging procedures as requested
• Report any inventory concerns or discrepancies to management
• Comply with all company policies and safety regulations

Requirements

• Visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse or related work experience preferred
