About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move materials, products, and supplies using manual handling or equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing materials while ensuring all items are properly labeled and tracked
- Replenish component kanbans throughout the day to support production targets
- Pick parts for kits on the production line according to work order pick lists
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Implement stock rotation practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out), to minimize waste
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory logs for all materials received, moved, or shipped
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a hazard-free warehouse environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, specifically during the swing shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM)
