Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Move material throughout the distribution center via receiving, re-stocking, picking, packing, and shipping
• Retrieve appropriate styles and quantities of material from warehouse locations using correct picking processes
• Unload and stage pallets in receiving areas and verify counts using RF scanners
• Visually inspect products for quality and accuracy during the picking and packing process
• Prepare shipping cartons with appropriate packing materials, labels, and packing lists to minimize damage
• Research and resolve discrepancies to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain quality workmanship and strictly observe all safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, and/or Cherry Picker
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX (Active Duty Military candidates are exempt)

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Experience using ERP systems, specifically SAP
• Flexibility to work specific shift hours and overtime based on customer demand
