Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Handle all material transfers within the E1 system
• Physically move raw materials, parts, and finished goods to appropriate locations
• Stage parts and raw materials in warehouse areas and at workstations
• Stage finished goods in designated areas for daily shipments
• Coordinate materials as assigned by department and production managers
• Load ovens with raw materials for scheduled work and transfer materials electronically
• Monitor Kanban cards to ensure purchasing is aware of reorder points
• Organize hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection areas in accordance with EH&S policies

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Proven experience in material processing
• Proficiency in operating powered material handling equipment
• Competence in driving a fork truck
• Demonstrated computer skills
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a physical for driving a box truck
• Strong mathematical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with E1 systems
