Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product
• Check all inbound and outbound products to ensure they are free of damage and infestation
• Verify that product code dates are properly recorded and match customer requirements
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock, ensuring exact quantity and type
• Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer orders to ensure accuracy
• Perform daily inspections of operated equipment and maintain a clean, orderly facility
• Assist in physical inventories and report discrepancies such as non-available products

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• One year of order fulfillment experience
• Six months of RF scan gun experience
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 90% of the shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of warehouse experience
• Six months of forklift operation experience
• Experience with Manhattan systems
