Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
• Count, verify, receive, and put away incoming vendor material and customer returns
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Verify packing slips and enter material received into the computer system
• Identify and store special order or damaged material
• Assemble and pack materials for shipment
• Set up training rooms and move furniture between departments
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
• Inform management of inventory discrepancies or safety issues

Requirements

• High school graduate diploma
• Current forklift license
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb
• Strong attention to detail regarding damaged materials
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a material handling position
• Large offroad forklift experience
