Material Handler, Demo Operations

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming shipments, including stocking inventory as it is received
• Package outgoing shipments and parcels, completing all required paperwork and Hazardous Materials documentation
• Perform surface decontamination of all clinically used equipment returned to the Mahwah Depot
• Maintain a log and SAP system of all incoming and outgoing packages
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as needed
• Maintain the loading dock area in a neat and orderly fashion
• Respond to Sales Representative inquiries regarding transit times, physical condition of items, and shipping configurations
• Pick and post parts for all service orders

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience in a shipping and/or receiving role
• Proficiency in using vendor-supplied shipping software such as UPS World Ship or FedEx
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to use hand tools for equipment disassembly and small power tools (e.g., electric drills, rivet guns) for crating repairs
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with SAP systems
