Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Stock and pick engine components and parts to support the engine assembly process
• Operate forklifts, hoists, hand trucks, and pickers to move materials
• Perform accurate data entry using computer systems, tablets, and scanners
• Utilize Navision for parts movement, research, and data management
• Use hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner
• Follow standardized work procedures and workstation instructions
• Maintain a clean work area and participate in safety and quality improvement activities

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Ability to stand on concrete for an entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, and twisting
• Capability for repetitive hand manipulation and grasping power tools
• Ability to read, understand, and complete technical documentation and drawings
• Willingness to work overtime and cross-train in different areas as required
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or trucking preferred)
• Previous mechanical experience
• High School Diploma or GED
