Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Handle aviation logistics tasks including picking, packing, and labeling cargo
• Sign off on bills of lading (BOL) and cross-check packing lists for accuracy
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, and vehicles using proper bracing and padding
• Scan freight via warehouse management systems using RF equipment
• Maintain a safe work environment through regular housekeeping and adherence to SOPs
• Count, weigh, and record units of materials moved on daily production sheets

Requirements

• Greater than one year of related warehouse or logistics experience
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Must obtain forklift certification within 90 days of hire
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in airport, airline, cargo, or aviation logistics environments
• Experience supporting aircraft maintenance or AOG (Aircraft on Ground) operations
• Previous SIDA badge holder
