About the role
Responsibilities
- Responsible for proper movement of all materials
- Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines
- Cycle counting of raw materials as required
- Proper picking and loading of finished goods
- Assures finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care
- Assures manufacturing loads are accurate and properly combined
- Assures scrap material is properly weighed and prepared for pick up
- Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
Requirements
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand shipping and packing lists
- Adequate computer skills for automated systems
- Strong attention to detail and cycle counting skills
- Ability for heavy lifting and operating forklifts/pallet jacks
