Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper movement of all materials
• Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines
• Cycle counting of raw materials as required
• Proper picking and loading of finished goods
• Assures finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care
• Assures manufacturing loads are accurate and properly combined
• Assures scrap material is properly weighed and prepared for pick up
• Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.

Requirements

• Ability to understand shipping and packing lists
• Adequate computer skills for automated systems
• Strong attention to detail and cycle counting skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Experience driving a forklift and handling pallet jacks

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
