Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials or products, ensuring proper identification and placement in storage or staging areas
• Manage documentation and filing for all materials, including maintaining electronic records in the system
• Locate and deliver materials to various departments and assist Quality teams with material movement
• Perform audits of products and materials to ensure accurate shipment receipt and maintain inventory accuracy
• Combine products or materials on pallets or in containers to prepare for shipment or further use
• Operate material handling equipment, including reach lifts, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and scissor lifts
• Ensure strict compliance with all OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company procedures

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing to operate reach lifts, dock stockers, and forklifts
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, or pulling
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and essential functions assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of Manhattan WMS
