Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Ensure orderly and timely distribution of products by pulling orders and delivering production materials.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and recording locations of supplies while reporting shortages.
• Manage the orderly operation of stock and materials storage areas.
• Assist with weekly cycle counting to maintain an updated account of stock.
• Receive and unload freight, verifying quantity and quality against Purchase Order records.
• Drive a company box truck to make deliveries to affiliated retail stores.
• Follow company policies to achieve targets within set timelines.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to drive a box truck.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a greenhouse environment (tolerance of heat and humidity).

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of material handling or inventory management experience.
• Process improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
