Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Receive and visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage
• Distribute parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment according to aircraft delivery schedules
• Verify and reconcile documentation for all incoming and outgoing parts and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and computerized or manual systems
• Assist in loading and unloading shipments
• Execute timely Aircraft-On-the-Ground (AOG) purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders
• Ensure proper storage and packaging of items per export compliance and hazmat shipping requirements
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies and participate in 5-S activities

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, or Tool Crib environments
• Trained in Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) requirements
• Proven customer service experience
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of purchasing, service orders, and AOG procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SAP or Syteline
• Forklift certification/qualification
