Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices, including food safety and PPE requirements
• Operate forklifts to coordinate raw materials, scrap, finished goods, packaging, and chemicals
• Communicate effectively with vendors, delivery drivers, and customers
• Inspect aluminum to ensure it meets quality standards and customer specifications
• Collaborate with team members to uphold ethical integrity and operational success

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of work experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (4 days on/4 days off) in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work in various temperature conditions for prolonged periods

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in forklift operation and maintenance
• Working knowledge of proper hazardous waste management
• Experience using JD Edwards, AS900, or similar warehouse/ERP systems
