Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions on pick sheets to accurately check and add materials
• Precisely weigh materials for production areas and follow QC sampling procedures
• Execute all required transactions using terminal software and handheld scanners
• Pull and return material to approved warehouse locations
• Perform cycle counting to maintain inventory record accuracy of 96% or greater
• Adhere to ISO9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures to ensure product quality and safety

Requirements

• High School diploma, equivalent, or degree in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, and Logistics & Transportation
• Experience operating standup forklifts and using bar-code scanning technology
• Basic math and computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend throughout an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
