Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions on pick sheets to accurately gather materials
• Precisely weigh materials for production areas and follow QC sampling procedures
• Execute transactions using terminal software and handheld scanners
• Manage warehouse inventory through cycle counting and maintaining 96% or greater accuracy
• Perform shipping functions including labeling products and checking customer orders
• Verify and cut truck seals and apply seals to full truck loads
• Gather necessary paperwork for shipments and follow ISO9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma, equivalent, or degree in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, and Transportation
• Experience operating a standup forklift
• Proficiency with bar-coding systems
• Basic math and computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for a 12-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
