Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials
• Coordinate with production teams to understand material needs and schedules
• Select and prepare materials for production processes efficiently and safely
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products
• Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with stock replenishment
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all handling and storage practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Proven experience in a material handling or warehouse role
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (ERP/WMS)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs with assistance
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Must be certified or able to become certified to use forklift equipment
