Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Store materials, tools, and supplies in an orderly and accessible manner
• Receive, pack, unpack, sort, and stock materials and supplies
• Verify accuracy of incoming shipments and inspect for damage or defects
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Distribute materials and supplies to internal customers
• Perform physical inventory counts and assist with reconciliation
• Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels
• Support general housekeeping and organization of warehouse areas

Requirements

• Forklift operation experience
• Ability to perform basic computer functions (data entry, email, inventory systems)
• Basic mathematical skills for counting and measuring
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
