Material Handler 3

Responsibilities

• Support the Distribution Center in Shipping, Receiving, Packaging, or Returns to ensure efficient inventory flow.
• Work with Customer Service and Product Management to resolve issues in shipping and production.
• Inspect, sort, store, and perform data entry for returned goods and non-compliant shipments following ISO procedures.
• Pick and pack parts according to shop order pick tags and customer order notes.
• Manage stock transfers physically and electronically, including opening orders and returning excess parts to stock.
• Provide leadership and training to colleagues and serve as backup for DC Supervisors.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Intermediate PC skills.
• Proven experience operating forklifts, including Reach trucks, Manup, and Sitdown models.
• Knowledge of QS/ISO 9000 and Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
