Material Handler 1

Responsibilities

• Transport materials including metal, doors, and frames from tables, delivery trucks, and wood crates for eight or more hours daily
• Perform quality inspections and operate or manually maneuver equipment
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Inspect products for abnormalities and notify supervisors immediately of issues
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure products meet specifications

Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and use a tape measure
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends as necessary
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility preferred
