Material Handler 1

Responsibilities

• Move materials, primarily glass, using vacuum lift assist equipment
• Manually lift and move mobile carts to facilitate production
• Monitor schedules and inventory requirements to maintain production flow
• Perform preventative maintenance including cleaning and inspecting equipment
• Apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials

Requirements

• Prior manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
• Ability to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure
• Punctuality and excellent attendance
• Availability for overtime and emergency work
