Material Flow Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound truck loads to identify material grades, non-conformities, non-recyclable and hazardous materials
• Assess and document load quality and record findings accurately
• Direct inbound trucks to appropriate yard locations safely and efficiently
• Perform daily yard quality checks, including pile inspections, truck inspections, gate cleanliness, and overnight load reviews
• Communicate material concerns, downgrades, and quality issues to operations and commercial teams
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure unwanted materials are removed promptly
• Verify outbound material quality meets customer and sales specifications
• Support safe yard operations by following and enforcing quality and safety procedures
• Provide guidance and support to new inspectors on material identification and yard procedures

Requirements

• Experience working around heavy equipment
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and good work ethic
