Material Equipment Handler

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify part numbers on supplies and equipment
• Load and unload trucks and carriers manually or using lift trucks
• Pack and unpack supplies, materials, and equipment
• Move material between manufacturing and storage areas
• Operate warehouse stackers to retrieve required material
• Prepare and maintain production records
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Licensed to operate mobile vehicles
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including pushing, pulling, and twisting
