Material Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter material transactions and maintain up-to-date records of shipments and stock levels within the MRP system.
• Review, distribute, and monitor pick sheets to ensure timely material availability and resolve discrepancies.
• Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts, audits, and reporting shortages or excess materials.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and procurement teams to ensure smooth material flow and resolve issues.
• Audit transactions against physical rack records to ensure system accuracy.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data processing.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move materials within a warehouse or production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Previous experience in data entry, inventory control, or materials coordination.
• Experience working in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other data management tools.
