Material Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first mentality and culture at the jobsite
• Control the receipt, storage, and issuance of project materials
• Assist in project mobilization and demobilization efforts
• Support the Material Manager with field material handling activities
• Prepare and distribute material management reports, including Daily Docs, OSD&E, MRR, and PO
• Communicate material management procedures and control plans to the project team
• Perform receiving and processing functions for various project sizes

Requirements

• BA degree or at least 2+ years of experience in an industrial construction related role
• Proficiency with advanced material handling software and databases
• Introductory knowledge of site purchasing and its impact on material management
• Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to relocate for both long-term and short-term field assignments
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to meet project deadlines
