Material Controller

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, material requisitions, and delivery notes
• Ensure proper material identification, tagging, and traceability in accordance with ADNOC and project requirements
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, QA/QC, and construction teams to ensure material availability
• Monitor material storage conditions and preservation requirements, including coating and shelf life
• Issue materials to construction teams based on approved material request forms (MRF)
• Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation to ensure data accuracy
• Identify and report shortages, damages, or non-conforming materials
• Maintain material status reports, stock reports, and tracking logs
• Support project close-out and material reconciliation activities

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5–8 years of experience in material control, warehouse, or logistics within Oil & Gas or EPC projects
• Proven experience working on ADNOC or major GCC Oil & Gas projects
• Strong knowledge of material management processes, inventory control, and warehouse operations
• Familiarity with construction materials including piping, mechanical, electrical, and civil materials
• Understanding of material traceability and preservation requirements in Oil & Gas environments
• Strong coordination, organizational, and reporting skills
