Material Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, package, and ship products
• Sort, distribute, and shelf components for job assignments
• Prepare accurate labeling and packaging for shipments or transfers
• Move and unload materials using fork trucks and pallet jacks
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Assist with metalwork assembly and sheet metal handling
• Adhere to all safety regulations and equipment maintenance procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to use hand tools (ruler, scale, calipers) and power tools
• Ability to interpret blueprint diagrams
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capability to pass certification for lifting/moving equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of previous inventory experience
• OSHA10 certification
• CPR certification
• Forklift experience or certification
• AutoCAD experience
