Material Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Sort, distribute, and store components received for job assignments
• Prep and package materials for shipment or transfer to other sites or vendors
• Prepare accurate labeling for shipping
• Move, unload, stage, and store materials using fork trucks and pallet jacks
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Assist with assembling metalwork and handling sheet metal goods
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
• Assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year of previous inventory experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to interpret blueprint diagrams
• Proficiency with hand tools (ruler, scale, tape measure, calipers) and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks like standing, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to travel between North Wales and Harleysville locations

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA10 certification
• CPR certification
• Forklift experience or certification
• AutoCAD experience
