Material Control Technician Lead

Responsibilities

• Train new team members on production support processes and procedures
• Coordinate receiving functions for purchased and owner-supplied materials
• Manage the flow of materials from inventory to the production floor
• Oversee the creation of labels, wire markers, and identification plates
• Lead and participate in daily production meetings
• Coordinate logistics for sheet metal and copper parts between facilities
• Manage shipping and receiving logistics, including inspection and packaging
• Schedule inventory cycle counting and quarterly inventory audits
• Collaborate with production and testing teams on project documentation
• Operate forklifts to transport material throughout the warehouse

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of previous inventory experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems
• Ability to interpret blueprint diagrams
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA10 certification
• CPR certification
• Forklift certification
• AutoCAD experience
