Material Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage Material Control room operations, including the timely transfer of components between the warehouse and cleanroom
• Perform accurate and timely ERP transactions using SAP to support the Kanban system
• Replenish the Material Control Room and prepare components for transfer based on Kanban requirements
• Operate warehouse equipment such as manual pallet jacks and plastic balers
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in compliance with safety policies
• Complete all assigned Quality Management System (QMS) training and follow standard operating procedures
• Respond promptly to handheld two-way radio communications
• Execute end-of-shift tasks including trash removal and packaging of empty trays

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to lift and transfer loads between 30-50 lbs
• Ability to stand and bend for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift above the shoulder frequently and below the waist occasionally
• Proficiency in the English language to read documentation and work instructions

• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
• Keen eye for quality and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a positive attitude
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
