Material Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, and ship raw materials, supplies, and finished products
• Coordinate the flow of materials from warehouse inventory to production areas
• Implement and maintain quality systems, including FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols
• Verify lot numbers, quantities, and release status using good documentation practices
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile errors
• Adhere to FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA, and company safety guidelines
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and continuous improvement projects like 5S and Kanban

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in cross-functional support skills such as environmental monitoring or inventory recording
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently
• Ability to work in a biomedical manufacturing environment wearing PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a cGMP environment
• Forklift Certification
• ERP system experience
