About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete receiving, inspection, and routing process for all incoming raw materials and chemicals
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including the preparation of customs documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Execute all shipping, receiving, and material stock transactions using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Perform inventory management for raw materials, hazardous chemicals, and cleanroom consumables
  • Monitor and restock Kanban materials based on production usage and operational requirements
  • Conduct weekly physical inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system data
  • Track material batch expiration dates and coordinate replacements or scrap shipments
  • Maintain and organize safety supplies and ensure material handling complies with safety standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, warehouse, or materials support
  • Proven experience with freight tracking and shipping documentation
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory management
  • Forklift certification or a willingness to obtain certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital inventory record maintenance
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of international shipments, import/export compliance, and customs clearance
  • Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling (HazMat) and related safety protocols
  • Experience with Kanban systems and lean inventory practices
  • Prior experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor manufacturing environment
