Material Control Front Line Leader

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direction for site Material Control operations to ensure high standards of quality, delivery, and manufacturing capability.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable business policies, laws, and regulations, including FDA, OSHA, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Attract, develop, and retain a diverse staff through effective training, succession planning, and performance feedback.
• Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and planning teams to meet site volume and inventory targets.
• Oversee site scheduling to balance customer demand, operational priorities, and capacity constraints.
• Manage departmental budgets and KPIs, including inventory accuracy, supplier delivery performance, and raw material safety stock.
• Drive continuous improvement programs using operational excellence tools such as Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Operations Science.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with regulatory standards and requirements in a food manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience in people leadership.
