Material Control Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Confirm accuracy of material information on spool drawings
• Input material line items into the JDE system
• Release spools to production once all material line items are available
• Issue work orders as required and address material shortages daily
• Check and update weight and surface area fields on spool sheets
• Maintain organized filing systems
• Assist with material reconciliations during job closeouts
• Requisition material shortages and update statuses in JDE

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in the pipe fabrication field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards (JDE)
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, including visual identification and descriptions
