Material Control Clerk III

Responsibilities

• Maintain production inventory and supplies by executing MES Lean Replenishment tools daily
• Ensure inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and physical/systematic reconciliation
• Perform physical putaway of products and manage Kanban for inventory transfers
• Conduct troubleshooting to resolve inventory issues such as Kanban discrepancies or misplaced items
• Train new Material Handlers on picking processes, RF scanner usage, and applicable tools
• Maintain and coordinate the distribution of RF Scanners within the Kitting department
• Proactively identify and communicate quality issues and participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Support new product and process launches and participate in functional team projects

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• High school diploma, degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Proficiency in MES, SAP, and WMS systems
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and related methodologies
• Ability to work onsite for the 2nd shift (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in an assigned material control or warehouse area
